Happy Birthday to my dearest Ashley! She is the best graphic and new media  designer I know. Sometimes when you are going through really rough times, you meet the most unsuspected friends that help you get through them.  Simko, you have been a gift to me these past weeks. “Tis the privilege of friendship to talk nonsense, and have her nonsense respected.” Indeed!  via And there has been a lot of nonsense…Some of my more memorable chats have been over: The ridiculous oddities of our peers Why we love the Internet and… Why we need to get off said Internet to try and lead someone normal lives IRL (in real life) Mac vs PC (guess who’s which ha) Cajun Boy…nuff said Our Oregon Trail theme party which we swear we are having soon! Whether commenting on the things one puts in his/her afro negatively is racist or not…aka the great toothpick debate Will we make money off of our jobs!?!? Will we be happy? (oh we MUST we MUST!) That proverbial ball and all of it’s games Why we are “hard” to deal with for boys but “worth” it Why dating in NYC is gross That I need to give you a job as contributor on gofg, that or stop stealing shit from your tumblr, that or steal the shit just be certain I know what I’m talking about aka YOU CAN’t DRINK THIS! (ps no one even noticed that mistake!) Sticky tack and its uses on walls is still relevant in ‘09 (as are buttons and reebok hightops). We are both really good at dressing up in theme Symmetrical faces should NOT be fked with and… There is something to be said for getting a kick out of little things like banana phones and bbkings There are so many more but my lack of sleep is preventing me from thinking them up.  I am embarrassed to admit the number of times I have actually BEEN with you IRL because I know you more than some of the people I work with on daily basis.  You are the best, you are the coolest, and you are finally 25! Hip Hip HooraY! OH OH OH! I almost forgot…I “designed” the above photo for you on “Paint!” Ha take that my Mac loving friend (Okay the streamers in stephanie and i’s mouths are NOT supposed to look like joints thank you very much)!
