Be Careful What You Wish For.....
I had a one way ticket to Omaha last Friday morning and got snowed in. Thinking of my aging grandparents, and, growing old in general, makes me think of one of my favorite poems; “The Love Song of Alfred J. Prufrock” by T.S. Elliot. I studied it intensively in a college lit class and even brough in the Crash Test Dummies’ “Afternoons and Coffeespoons” written on the poem. I have included some of my favorite lines:

Bobo’s Holiday party is tonight, and I’m so sad I’ll be missing it. I remember stopping in the West Village Restaurant 2 summers ago and watching owner, Carlos Suarez working away from scratch. He is such a cool guy. I bet this party will be so much fun!
